Hello,
I raised a question in class on Thursday and wanted to share it with everyone.
For the "Case Study of a Young Person" assignment, I am having trouble finding a young person to interview. It does not seem that the young people that I teach at my pre-practicum would have time for multiple interviews. Most of the students that I have talked to thus far work after school and have very busy lives. Getting students to stay after school or come in early for extra help or make-up work has been difficult and I imagine that this will be the case for the interview as well. I would not want to burden them with another commitment nor take away from their lunch or class time. I'm still searching for students that might have free time to spare, but I worry that this may not be successful. I also do not have any school age siblings or cousins living in the United States.
If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it if you could share them with me.
Best,
Monika
