What does it mean to be literate?

While we will continuously explore this professional curiosity, one resonant theme from the class on 9/4 was the need and ability to make meaning of the events in our lives. On that note, here are some sites for teaching about Ferguson, which is to say teaching about Blue on Black crime, anti-blackness, and how white privilege needs black suffering, to, you know, name a few light topics.
